Learn about publicity at these teleseminars
in the comfort of your home or office

What's a Teleseminar?

A teleseminar is like a giant telephone conference call. In your home or office, you listen to the host interview the guest, then you can ask your own questions via email.

No airfare. No hotel room charges. No grabbing a fast food supper between flights.

After you register, I will email you complete instructions that include the phone number to call to get onto the line, and other tips for making this a fun learning experience.

For most teleseminars, you don't need a computer during the call, just a phone. Some teleseminars, depending on the topic, have handouts which will be emailed to you. Others have no handouts. If you can't attend, you can order the audio CD or the electronic transcript afterward.

Here's the Current Schedule:

|Wednesday, May 21:
"9 Clever Ways to use Video to Become a Publicity Darling in Your Industry or Community"

Guest expert:
John Easton, president of Eastonsweb Multimedia in Charlotte, NC and
a local media darling.

Who should attend:

  • How local bloggers can catch the attention of local media by using video
  • Why your video doesn't have to be broadcast-quality
  • How to find media partners that are itching to work with you (and give you publicity!)
  • How to convince your local Chamber of Commerce to give you tons of publicity that other members don't get
  • Tips for using your local cable TV company's public access channel to create your own TV show or a series of shows
  • The one important question you MUST ask the cable company so you can keep promoting yourself again and again and again
  • How to create your own Internet TV show and attract a worldwide audience
  • How to recycle your videos and post them to the numerous video-sharing sites
  • Tips on how nonprofits can use video to promote fund-raising, special events, community activities and more
  • Quick tips on how schools can use video to publicize events and what's happening inside the classroom
  • The one thing you should shoot that will entice TV stations to air a longer story about you...it's fairly fast and it's easy
  • How to form a strategic alliance with your local National Public Radio station (yes, NPR loves video too!)
  • Where to find inexpensive (or FREE) videographers and editors if you don't want to do it yourself or get your hands dirty with the technical stuff

Registration:
$39.95. Registration is non-refundable. If you can't attend for whatever reason, that's OK. Everyone who registers will get a copy of the MP3 recording to listen to at their convenience.
