What's a Teleseminar?
A teleseminar is like a giant telephone conference call. In
your home or office, you listen to the host interview the
guest, then you can ask your own questions via email.
No airfare. No hotel room charges. No grabbing a fast food
supper between flights.
After you register, I will email you complete instructions
that include the phone number to call to get onto the line,
and other tips for making this a fun learning experience.
For most teleseminars, you don't need a computer during the
call, just a phone. Some teleseminars, depending on the
topic, have handouts which will be emailed to you. Others
have no handouts. If you can't attend, you can order the
audio CD or the electronic transcript afterward.
June 4, 2009:
11 Ways to Avoid Missed Opportunities
on Facebook

Time: 3 to 4:10 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, June 4,
2009
Guest expert: Christine Buffaloe of Serenity Virtual
Assistant Services
About the teleseminar:
Facebook newbies and even intermediate users who have a
basic knowledge of the site are making 11 common mistakes
that are robbing them of exposure, friends and new
customers.
Christine Buffaloe of Serenity Virtual Assistant Services,
my VA who manages Facebook for many of her clients and for
me, will explain the most common errors and missed
opportunities and show you how, with just a little work, you
can turbo-charge your Facebook pages and make them really
work for you. A lot has changed on Facebook in the last
year. This is an update of a teleseminar I hosted last
summer.
Who should attend:
- Publicity Hounds who
still don't have a Facebook page.
- Facebook users who are
finding it difficult to navigating the site or those who
don't know what they don't know.
- Facebook users who
don't understand how to use the site to build customer
loyalty and promote.
- Anyone who hasn't seen
a return on investment or doesn't know how to measure
ROI.
- NOTE: This is not
advanced training on Facebook. It covers a lot of the
basics that many people still don't know about.
You will learn:
- How to set goals and
expectations before you start posting content.
- Tips for your Settings
so you aren't bombarded with information you don't need.
- Online and offline
ways to get quality friends, beyond the obvious.
- How to participate in
the conversation and start building relationships with
a limited number of quality friends.
- How to dazzle your
friends with content they'll pass along to their
friends--without overwhelming them...including a major
missed opportunity.
- The minimum daily
requirements on Facebook, even if you have only 10
minutes to spend.
- Why creating Pages to
promote whatever you're selling is more important than
ever. You'll see examples on how other companies are
using Pages to flaunt their brand.
- The best way to use
the Groups function.
- A really fun way to
invite your friends to your events without annoying
them.
- A major opportunity
many Facebook users are missing when they ignore their
friends' Event invitations.
- Time-saving tips and
apps that will keep you from constantly churning out
new content.
- How to integrate
Facebook with your other social networking pages so
everything works together.
...and we'll leave plenty
of time for your questions.
***BONUS: This session
will include illustrated handouts
that we'll email to you the morning of the teleseminar.
Everyone who attends will
receive a copy of the MP3 recording within 48 hours.
